On this amazing journey, I have experienced some of the most unexpected moments…some exciting and heartwarming and some I wish I didn’t have to experience. But, I don’t take any of it for granted. I am so grateful that God has chosen me for this important work.  Life has a way of shaping our futures without our permission, and if we are not present in our right now, we will look around and time will have moved on without us. Believe me…it’s like I went from 16 to 60 in the blink of an eye!

I have learned so much and grown so much more than I ever thought possible. What I have learned most is that when you make room for God, He will make room for you. He will open doors for you that you had no idea were even there and because you belong to Him, He will love you and strengthen you just when you need it the most.

I have finally come to a place in my life where I don’t mind letting go of those things that don’t matter. Where saying “no” doesn’t make me feel like it will cost me a friendship or a job. Where the things that I think are important…are important…even if only to me, and finally where it’s okay to believe that I am enough…
